Terms & Conditions
 
  1. Investment of a Minor (under 18 years) should always be accompanied by a Guardian as a Joint Holder and the Guardian should sign the application form.

  2. Units in the Funds are sold only on the basis information contained in the respective Explanatory Memorandum. Initial investment and subsequent investment must be as given in this application.

  3. Application and the unit investment form must be completed in full and in BLOCK CAPITAL LETTERS.

  4. Application in joint names may only be made by not more than two persons and both such applicants should sign this application form.

  5. The Managers reserve the right without assigning any reason whatsoever to refuse to allot any units or allot such member of units as they may decide at their absolute discretion.

  6. Certificates will be dispatched to the address given by Registered Post at the unit holder's risk.

  7. Any change of address/dividend instructions should be notified immediately in writing to the Registrar at No. 73, W.A.D. Ramanayake Mawatha, Colombo 02.

  8. In the case of corporate applicants, the common seal of the Company should be affixed and attested as required by Articles of Association.

  9. In the case of application made under Power of Attorney, the original Power of Attorney together with a photocopy of the same or a duly certified copy of the said Power of Attorney should be lodged with the Registrar.

  10. Investors in approved schemes should specify the scheme under others in section 1 of this application.

  1. Correspondence will be forwarded to the first registered account holder as specified in Section 2 of this application.
 
Mode of Remittance
  1. Remittance should be made separately in respect of each application by Payments either in cash or in cheques/banker's draft in favour of "National Asset Management Ltd." and crossed A/C Payee only.

  2. If an application duly made is accompanied by cash, units will be allotted on the date of receipt of the monies by NAMAL, subject to the condition that the monies are received on or before 2.30 p.m. and if cash is received after 2.30 p.m. units will be allotted on the subsequent working day. in respect of Bankers Draft or Cheques, allotment of units will only be made on the date of realization of the remittance.

  3. Investments in Unit Trusts as well as proceeds on redemption of units shall be in Sri Lankan Rupees only.

  4. Payments will be made only to the First Holder by way of a crossed cheque. However, payments with regard to a minor will be made to the Guardian by way of a crossed cheque.

  5. Investment Counselors are not authorized to accept cash on behalf of National Asset Management Ltd.

  6. Forwarding Completed Applications

The applications and the Unit Investment Forms duly completed together with the remittance for the full amount payable should be enclosed in an envelop and marked the name of the invested Fund on the top left hand corner, and sent by post, or delivered by hand to the following address: If you are paying by cash, it should be paid to the Managers at the same address.
